Sports seats (UK)

Elsewhere, Lotus 7 said "I have the sport seats in a 35i and greatly prefer them to the standard seats. The adjustable side bolsters let you fit them exactly to your personal "width" and the extra side support is nice if you do any moderately "vigorous" driving. They are a little firmer than the stock seats, and are a tiny bit harder to enter and exit, but even my wife prefers the sport seats and she has a lot less "built in padding" than I do". Has anyone in the UK taken delivery yet of an F25 with sports seats and if they have, are they part electric as advertised and work as above and if not, are the side bolsters manually adjustable? Thanks. (PS I will resist comment on my wife on the grounds I might incriminate myself).

The electric part isn't as advertised but I'm not sure exactly what you are supposed to get against what you actually do get because I have full electric. See this thread

The test car I drove had Sport seats, the only thing that was electrically operated was the side bolsters, everything else was manual adjustment.

Did'nt know the side bolsters are electrically adjusted, sure i would have spotted this when ordering. BMW need to make it clearer what is on offer when ordering.

I agree the detailed spec. is poor, I read on this forum recently that some options are £00's and in the congfigurator you only get a price and one line description for your money!

As part of my long wait I have started thinking about switching to a 2.0D sport model. I like the look of the all over paint job, sport seats and 18" so I know more or less what extra you get but have any eagle eyed members spotted in the spec. what is taken away from the SE model (UK spec.) I have noticed with some auto makers you might pay more for a sport model but as well as add some goodies they also take others away but don't tell you. Any feedback grateful

didn't know u could adjust the side bolsters... one of the reasons i didn't go for the dynamic pack was cos i had probs with the seats in the z4 which frayed... so i thought i shouldn't go down this route again.. if i can adjust it.. that's a whole new ballgame.. though i need to decide whether to risk delaying my order even further...

Yes, and that's because there would be no logical way to manually adjust the bolsters, but you drove a car that did not have electric seats.
