2011 x3 stalls-hesistates at high speed around at 75-80 miles/hr
After I placed order for a new X3 and friend of mine wanted the same, but at much less money . He located a pristine x3 28i in a Honda dealership. Beautiful car at 15k miles .We went for a test drive . It cold and frigid around Boston . No wonder TPMS sensors were not happy . We jump into the highway .Great ride .. till we slowly reached around 75-80 miles per hr, for a minute or so. Weird thing happens..engine kind of self limits itself.. like automatic engine brakes ,till speed falls below 78 miles/hr.. No unusual transmission noise . No warnings on the dash, except front right wheel TPMS warning. Take an exit on to the back roads .Try out handling on the ice. Great Xdrive. Go back on the highway . Same thing ..around 80 miles/hr - automatic engine brakes. Any clues?
