Getting ready to order
Hello everyone,
I currently drive an E90, my lease is up in a few months and I was wondering if I was going to go with another E90 or something else. I had said I would not get another SUV/SAV but when I saw the X3 at the L.A. Auto show I knew that that would be my next choice to get. here is what I'm thinking on ordering, what do you think? X3 XDrive 28i Black Sapphire Metallic Leather Nevada Mojave Silver Matte Trim Dynamic Handling Package Sport Activity Package Dynamic Damper Control Adaptive light control Xenon headlights your thoughts!!!!

Hey, spec looks good!
Only feedback is that I think I read people here have said the brushed aluminum is a better choice than the silver matte I think? Not sure as I have not seen the Silver Matte in person but have seen the brushed aluminum and it looks great and seems very durable. maybe someone else can confirm this? Hope this helps. Good luck! |

Sabian,
You are right about the trim, but it highly depends on the exterior as well as the seat colors... The silver matte is more like the mineral silverish color and not the titanium. so if you are going for a mineral silver (ext), silver matte is a wiser choice and with titanium silver, the brushed one. In this case, since the exterior is gonna be black, I don't see big of a difference specially on the trim side. But seeing that the leather is the Mojave (i believe it is Havana in the Canadian version) then the silver matte (being more mineral) or even the wave wood would go with it. However, if price is a concern (which I believe it often is), then for the silver matte you are not paying extra as it comes standard on 28i whereas for brushed or wave, you'll pay around $500-$600 extra... then again, it's you call beto... good luck! |

I have seen the silver matte on a X3.
It looks fine, but bear in mind it is NOT metal. It's basically a painted plastic. On the 28i you have to get the premium package to get the metal or wood trim. YMMV, Paul |

Thanks!!
Thanks everyone, I got to see in person brushed aluminum and it looks great so I might get it.
Also I saw the chestnut leather interior and I might be getting that interior with black exterior.
