Annoying squeaky armrest....

2005 X3. The armrest is obnoxiously squeaky. So much so that I have tried not to rest my arm on it (aka not driving comfortably).

Anyone else have this same issue? Fixes? I hate to just spray WD40 on it, to me that feels like a band aid and not a real fix. Thoughts?

I have not noticed that on mine but now that you mention it I bet I will tomorrow lol. However I do not have GPS built in so I have a storage area units place with a door over it that is squeaking as can be that I have been trying to figure a way to quiet without going the WD-40 route.
