M Sport

I know the M Sport isn't being produced until April, but I have hardly seen anyone post any orders, do people not like the look of it, I found it to be a better deal that the sport activity package as it was only an extra $1100 over the sport pkg in Canada and included so much more.

I changed my order for an Msport and resulted in extra 4 months' wait!
I too think its good value with all the extras compared to Dynamic package(UK)

I like the fact that the exterior plastic trim is painted but then.... Im not convinced about the M sport look, I couldnt wait and went for the SE

For me some colours do look much better in the M sport (White/Black seem best fit)

Hi

New at this forum, keeps me breathing during my wait for the X3

Ordered a 3.0d m-sport in White a couple of weeks ago. For me it was no brainer. In Sweden it is almost the same price for the M-sport compared to the Se with the desired equipment. I got the bodykit for free and it's a major improvement on the white X3 IMO. And the wait has begun...

I don't really like the look of it. I know it's a very personal thing, but the M Sport on the X3 looks a little ricey. I dig the wheels though.

The m sport looks nice for some colors but I'm not digging it on the white or lighter colors. The front and sides for m sport look awesome but the back without the black plastic makes the car look bigger and a little bloated. It's a good value none the less when compared to the sport package.

After some waffling, the M-sport doesn't do it for me. Haven't seen one in the flesh, but the photos just aren't working for me. If it floats your boat, I'm happy for you and don't mean to criticize, but I'm not an advocate.

Nice spec!

I went for the chestnut/wave interior. Did you get a delivery date for your car? Mine is estimated early august but they told me maybe earlier cause of the 3.0d.

I went for the M-sport without even seen it live. But I think since BMW made the E46 M-sport, every BMW has been improved with the M-pack. And for most modells I would consider it an automatic choice when it comes to ticking the options. Better resale value, better looks and if you've already decided to go for larger wheels, sport seats etc the value is quite good.

I was thinking about mineral silver and no m-sport, but having a loaner in that specification I thought that the car lacked some excitement. It wasn't boring, but it just didn't feel special enough.

I think the X-cars are the best looking ones without the M-sport (on the E9x, F1X and E6X, it is an absolute must), but I still think that I would regret not going for the M-sport.

M Sport is worth the wait just for the anthracite headliner. I love it in my current car and wouldn't order a new X3 without M Sport...

...or a diesel. Are you listening BMW? Where is the X3 30d for North America?

My ordered MSport in Vermillion Red is scheduled for production next week, ie week starting Apr 10. Should be here early-mid May.

I ordered M Sport but then went back to SE. What i dont like of it is that i think it looks like a poor man X3 M, not something born with the car but added later to try to make the car look more sporty. Actually i find the SE more balanced and elegant, but of course it is all a matter of personal tastes, like everything.
