Wheel option photos

Hi just ordered a UK X3 (Sapphire Black), not not sure about standard wheels....I have a 320D M-sport already and am not a big fan of run-flats......if anyone has photos of different wheel options ?...probably not going to consider 20" due to kerbing risks but probably going upto 18 or 19.............cheers Graham

Something I considered when looking at wheels was the cost of replacement tyres. According to my research 18" will cost £230 ish each, didn't even look at larger. Even the optional 17" non-standard wheels cost £190 ish. Tyres for Standard 17" wheels will cost £130 ish.

Doing a lot of miles on larger wheels will soon add up.

Those 309 19" look great, especially in the snow

Not keen on the 20" above, look a bit pimp my ride IMO

Without wishing to state the obvious, you should also consider the effect on the ride (more style, less comfort)

Some people with the 19" 309s have reported that the ride is still pretty smooth. I have ordered 309s and the dynamic package so will post some feedback on the ride in a few weeks.

The ride is still plenty smooth -- for a BMW with a sport suspension. Any smoother and I wouldn't want it.

They'll be much cheaper from Camskill or the like.

Camskill don't do any of the 18" or 19" sizes for a 4x4. As usual BMW have chosen 'unusual' sizes which are not off the shelf. You try getting decent MT/AT tyres in 235/55/17 (E83 size).....

mytyres are only showing car tyres in the X3 sizes as well.
