Wipers
I'm missing something with the wipers. You can't just fold them up to clean them and the window. Manual says: 1) turn off car; 2) press up on the wiper stalk for more than 3 seconds until the wipers stop in almost vertical position.
I hold the stalk up and the wipers just keep wiping. What am I missing? Car is off. Held the stalk up as instructed. Confused. Certainly something obvious and stupid, but it's eluding me!!! A little help?!?!?

It turns out you have to not only turn the car off, you have to press Start/Stop a second time to shut off the electronics. Then when you hold the wiper stalk up past the resistance point for a bit the wipers stand at attention so you can fold them away from the window.

And a not-too-swift one, apparently!!
(And yes, I know I'm lucky and I feel the pain of y'all waiting!! If it helps at all, I'm enjoying the crap out out of this car as a true BMW owner should -- 4 days, 260 miles, all good.)
