Hi All

In the business NAV (angled perspective view forward) - I can't seem to switch off the the horizon with blue sky at the top...

Anyone know how to do this? (It will be far better & clearer with it off).

When on the map view with the nav on push the idrive controller to the left to bring up the menu. Second or third one up is "map view". You can change it from perspective to top view or north oriented.

Simples!

Yes - but is there anyway of getting the same view and taking the horizon blue sky out? A setting to remove it and rather show more map...?

Basically like the normal angled top view as seen on normal GPS (on TomTom / Garmin) ...

Maybe can be done on an NAV software update - would love to suggest it to BM head office ...

You want to delete the sky?! What sorcery is this?!

I doubt they'll change this but there's no harm in asking. I know what you mean but perhaps it's there to reflect the higher driving position

Had to use my Nav yesterday - and half the screen was showing bright sky and fuzzed out road names... hard to even focus with brightness - maybe I should get a Garmin or Tomtom...? Shewww

Maybe I should take it into the dealership ...
