IMO those are a bit more integrated into the body, ie they would leave a void if removed. I don't mind the BMW badges because they are located in the center so it doesn't throw off the symmetry. I'm OCD like that though haha.

I completely agree. The FIRST thing I do to ANY car is get rid of any dealership garbage. They are not paying me for advertising and it looks tacky IMO.

Then you must hate stagger tires and driver oriented cockpits

Talking

Debadging also helps saving weight on the car but may offset the 50/50 Perfect balance, save you some gas not much, but does make a difference. But hey, it helps you go faster

Hmmm. Well the others are glued on where the BMW roundels are pinned. That may be problematic where as you could always easily glue back the other plastics.

And make sure to carry "it" to the left/right to make sure the balance of the car is just right (well, or left!)

Unless your passenger is your identical twin, the front is not symmetrical

How about if you have 2 X3's - are they twins? Does anyone have 2 X3's?

I wish you could order it from the factory with the X3 badge on the back, but without the model designation on the door as its a PITA to keep clean between the letters!!

for me personally, I didn't like either the side badges or the X3 on the back. Thought the X was too big for the panel. I'd be happy with a smaller X3 badge on the back I suppose.

just picked mine up last week, and I think CB + debadged looks smashing. Glad I did it.

Does anyone have any experience of removing the side badges? Is there a possibility of damaging the paint?

I'm there on this one! Free advert for the dealer and they charge you for it too. "Woot, woot, my Dealer supplies plastic tags!" Sheesh. AND thanks those who supplied them for the photos without the badges--I see the attraction of the smooth, sleek look--verra nice.

The dealer forgot to order my car debadged and did it before the delivery but also damaged the paint on all 3 places. So be very carefully when removing them yourself.

There's a thread on here somewhere about how to do it cleanly using a hairdryer, some dental floss and some cleaning solution to remove the left over glue residue. Can't find it at the moment but I definitely read it and it was a clean removal!
