Online owners manual?
For those of us who are impatiently waiting is there a site we can download the manual? Might as well read up until we get the car.

IMHO, studying the on-line Manual carefully is really a smart investment for anyone who has a X3 on order. However, one thing to look out for are the asterisks! Features that are related to options or are only available with certain option “packages” are mentioned throughout the Manual.
When there is a subtle "*" before a section or the specific feature, your vehicle may or may not have that feature, or may work differently than the Manual indicates. The Manual usually does not indicate which option package is required for the feature to be included or to work in the manner specified. |

The manual is also available as a PDF on your My BMW page.
I've found it to be interesting reading. The last BMW that I drove was a model 2002, back in the mid-70's, with a stick shift. The BMW automatic transmission shifter on the X3 behaves very differently than a typical US automatic transmission shifter. After reading the manual, I now understand how I almost backed my X3 demo into the Z3 demo parked behind me. |

Thanks guy. Might as well read up now so when I do get the car it will take less time to get things set up.
Yeah I don't know about letting other people drive the car unless they are familiar with the shifter. |
