Take it or leave it?
Dealer has a Saphire black metallic 35i with Sport activity package, premium package, cold weather package, Nav, comfort access keyless entry, power tailgate and park distance control on the lot with 300 test drive miles on it. Stickers at 52,225.....offering it to me for 48,725. Looks like that is 200 over invoice. I planned on ordering the car and was deciding between the black metallic and the mineral silver. Hesitant on this because people have test drove it and if they drove it like I did (petal to the floor) how good could this be for the vehicle during its break in time? Dont' want to pass up a good deal though either. Opinions?

I'm interested to see what others think...I would jump on that one, but since this will be my first BMW I'm not sure what the "rules" are for the break-in period.

This is a no brainier to me, unless you don't like the metallic black and the equipped options. That is a great price and not enough miles on it to be concerned about break-in issues.

Just realized this thread double posted. Sorry about that Extended warrenty....I like that idea. Wonder if they'd go for it? That might just sway me. Doesn't hurt to ask, right???

I would take it, instead of waiting for one for months. But I would surely ask for invoice and also few additional items, like floor mats, cargo tray, mud flaps etc... also like MA78 suggested ask them for extended warranty, I am not sure if they will agree though, since its a lot of money, but you can surely justify, that the car was test driven for first 300 miles which is a crucial period and it may contribute to any issues that you might encounter in furture. Physically check for any scuffs and visual damages etc...before you sign the deal. Good Luck.
