I found this cup holder at my marina, slid right in. My coffee cup fits well and I dont need a death grip to get it out. This was 99 cents! It doesn't have the chrome ring but works great. Its made by Sea Dog.

I think it will depend on when you took delivery. Chrome inserts are relatively recent addition.

Sorry, should have also said that on the UK configurator, you need to have selected the Extended Storage option to get these. Not sure what the equivalent is in Canadia.

Probably not good for cups as they disable the tensioning fingers.
The inserts work great with paper cups from Starbucks. The tensioners seem to cushion the cup so nothing spills.

I have them, but I ordered the extra Storage Package. Does your car have that option, if not, you won't get the cup inserts. At least, that's my understanding.

Also, if your vote is that easily bought, I recommend you apply for a job in FIFA! No offence Jack Warner!

Sorry if this has been covered - do recent production Uk cars come with the inserts or do you only get them if you order extended storage as suggested above (which I did not do). Ta!

In the UK configurator if you select Extended Storage the interior view actually changes to show the appearance of cup holders plus the driver's side glasses/coin box. Apparently on top of what the description states you will also get an extra 12v power for the rear passengers plus cup holds in the rear arm rest.

Just looked at the US config and noticed that you need the Storage Package which is in the Premium Package for the box next to the driver and the cup holder inserts.

Speaking of the rear cargo area, am I the only one who thinks the storage panel opening in the trunk floor should have a hinge on it? It bothers me that it's just a free-standing panel.

On the US configurator it appears to be included with the Technology Package.

I think it's free-standing because it's reversible. If it were hinged you couldn't flip it over to the rubbery/grip side.
