New member with some questions...
Hi all
Planning to get the 2.0 X3 after 2 years away from BMW (had at least 1 in the 8 years before that, all sedans). I have basically decided on getting the premium package and the navi. Not looking for performance from this car, just want a car to carry some stuff if need and be the winter car. 1. Are there any "must have" options on this car? 2. Any common issues that I should be worried about? I plan on leasing this one only. 3. I got a set of E60 x-drive winter tires at home. I know the tires won't work but will the rims work on this? The rims are: 17 x 7.5, ET 43 and 72.56mm center bore, 5x120 From what I gather, the X3 stock 18's are: 5x120 72.5mm ET45 And the BMW winter package is: 5x120 ET 32 17x7.5 I assume as bore as the 18's. That's all the info I can find via google. Does anyone have the full specs of OEM wheels? I want to know if I can reuse those rims still. Thanks! |

+1 on the Sound Upgrade.
If you like music, it'll be well worth it.

for those that are not aware, the basic system on Canadian X3 is a 6 speaker (two of them are subs). the upgrade on the 28i is a 12 speaker set up (which is standard on the 35i). The 35i gets the option to upgrade to the 16.

The Outback is too big. Tried the Forester, the steering and brake feedback is too soft. Haven't driven non-German car for 10 years, don't plan on going back. Also, on a lease, the X3 comes to only a bit more per month, as the Subaru have terrible residual value.
