There are many small little things like those I thought would be standard on most other cars. But this is my first BMW so I guess lesson learned...

I just learned about the "Storage Package" too, weeks after ordering my car, and when I tried to add it I was told it was too late because my car is already in production.

I'm just ... not sure where I'm going to keep my sunglasses :P

As much as I would have paid if I known, when I think about someone sitting in a board room deciding to "delete" the storage stuff so they could add it as a $300 "package" I find it infuriating. FYI the package includes the left-hand glove box, as well as the cargo rails in the rear cargo area and a bunch of storage nets around the car. All similar stuff is included with the Q5 and the GLK, even in nickel-and-dime-us-to-death Canada.

If it makes you feel any better, there's no place to put my sunglasses in the SQ5 other then the door pocket. The sunglasses holder is large enough to hold a pair of a reading glasses, if they're really small.

Totally agree. If I can afford a BMW with most of the major packages included, I am pretty sure I can afford a $300 storage package.... lol
Storage Package on BMW.ca didn't even mention glove compartment is included, only a picture of the cargo rail now I look at it....

The worse part was reading all different youtube reviews and was expecting things like cargo rails was included because few reviews had them in the video.

It's made for X1 and shows not compatible with X3. But it looks generic enough to fit on X3?

The courtesy lights under the passenger seat came off last night..... I had to clip it back manually and it's not fun....

I am waiting for delivery of my 2016 x1, mineral white with mocha interior next month and I am so excited.. but does anyone have any experience on which cell phone will pair with this car and add my contacts without any hassle. I don't need to stream music or anything else. But I don't think my flip phone is going to work... or will it?? I have an LG flip, any ideas so I get my phone before I get the car. all phone ideas are appreciated
