Does iCarly support the e-brake service mode on the F25?
I"ll be doing pads and rotors all around on my wife's F25 soon. I don't own iCarly or the Bluetooth adapter, but I've considered getting it. Does iCarly support putting the electronic e-brake into service mode on the F25?
The iCarly website is not too helpful on providing vehicle support information. Or, are there any other Android apps (Torque Pro?) that support this function? I didn't have much luck searching on that either. I'll futz around with Torx drivers and motors if I have to, but it'd be nice to push a button to take care of it. |

I just looked at my Carly app and it does have an e-brake service mode available in it. Disclaimer though that I haven't used it....yet. And I don't know if it's available in the "free" version as I have the full subscription version.

I've done rear brakes on my F25 twice and never did anything other than wind the pistons back in manually with the correct tool. No Carly or anything needed.

I also recently did the rear brakes on my 2012. Putting the e-brake into service mode is not necessary The method I used was to remove the actuator from back of the caliper and wind the piston back in. This method simply requires a few different sized torx drivers. I believe there is also a special tool you can use to wind it from the piston side, but I've not tried it. I assume iCarly winds it back electrically to make it even simpler.
