New exhaust pipe tips!

Has anyone had success finding the correct size to fit a X3 F25 35i tailpipe? After removing my rusted and pitted tips I measured the exhaust pipe at 68mm. All I see seem to be too small in size. Finding a set that use the same installation would be ideal. I would like to get Stainless in shiny black. Any help would be appreciated.

exhaust tips

If you find a location of glossy black tips let me know as I have been looking for awhile now with no luck. Mine are pitted too. Thanks

I wound up looking in another direction!

Try searching for an Audi pipe. I ordered these on ebay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-Black-Ex...53.m2749.l2649

With calipers I measured the outside diameter at 79mm. The Audi's are 76mm which is about an 1/8 of an inch. For the price I had to give it a try. Use a rubber mallet to hit the old ones off. Hit them from the back. Amazon also has some. Wish us all luck!

3mm smaller seems like a lot of difference, if they were 3mm larger, seem more likely to fit with a spacer. I'm curious how they're going to fit and hold up. They're cheap enough to gamble on

Plenty of room!

If you feel the back end of the tips there is 8mm of room. The diameter of what I bought is 76mm. the exhaust pipe itself measures 68mm.

Cool, I misunderstood what you were measuring. Post some pics when you get them installed.

I am waiting for a slow boat from China!

I will let you know how it works out but here is a link to Amazon for the same product I ordered. I wish I had seen it before I placed my ebay order.

I added a Remus dual exhaust muffler to my X3 and fell in love with these tips. I know they're from Aliexpress but they have surprising heft and mass. I had one discolor on me of the three so quality could be an issue the prices are reasonable and the variations are endless.

did the remus axle back exhaust bolt up to oem mid pipe?

or was there cutting / welding involved?

On my 2016 F25 with N20....just cutting off the old exhaust and the included REMUS pieces fit perfectly. No welding on my exhaust required.

Installed!

OK, they came today and I installed them. One thing I did was to twist off one of the inside grips that hold the tip on. It was a little too tight with all 4. Hey for $20 they look a lot better than the old ones. The blackened finish wasn't quite as dark as I was hoping. Would I do it again? I sure like the looks of najnad's. It is your call.
