X3 Lease Coming Up:Mini Countryman?
While the F'15 is on my next car radar (as is the 4GC) I test drove a Mini Countryman S.
I've gotta say a lot of smiles for the sheer fun of driving it AND a lot of smiles for the price too! With AWD, heated seats, Navigation and the S or John Cooper Works set-up?? Seems like it could be a blast of an ED driver and utility I need in a x-over.. Am curious to hear what Bimmer owners think?

Size is much different so depends on your needs. Minis are fun to drive though. Also the countryman is due for a complete remodel in the next year or so. Ride harshness might not seem too bad on test drives but might get to you over time if it's a daily driver.

BMW loaned me a Countryman whilst I was waiting for delivery of my X3.
Really enjoyed it, Mini's are loads of fun to drive and I loved the 2 weeks of ownership of it, it was quite roomy for a Mini and the one I had was top of the range with satnav etc. Wife loved it so much she now wants me to look out for a Mini Hatch Cooper for her! Only problem in the UK second hand Mini's are VERY expensive compared to the opposition. She originally wanted a Ford Fiesta Zetec S, for the same money I am looking at a 3 year older Mini Cooper
