I-drive setting not remembered after locking the car

I got the software upgraded a couple weeks ago and drove home (2hr drive from dealer) and I changed all the settings back to Km, liters and so on... When I locked the car, unlocked and start it, everything is back to default which is not what I want!! Seat settings, radio preset and memories remain correct. Anyone had that happened?

it happened to me today when I picked up my car from the dealer and then realized I didn't use the same key I had when I initially setup the car. Both your keys have different settings, each it's own.

It does it with both keys, goes back to default all the time.

weird, have the dealer look at it, is the closest dealer to you in quebec city? I wonder if they can check it remotely, plus it costs you like 80$ every time you go see them, will they offer to fill it up for you?

Not sure if you have this in Canada but you can export your profile in the UK and see exactly what is being saved for each profile on the BMW Assist website. Might help you to see what is happening. It should save km/miles and litres/gallons per user (distance and consumption options in the picture below)

Thanks, I will look into that. Still need to contact the dealer for his opinion, but I expect the usual : "We will need to see the car so bring it in..."

Monday, after updating my vehicle, I had a similar problem. Tuesday I returned to the dealer, they have reconnected to their computer to fix the bug.

So you should come back here in Quebec City
