Who else is lining up to get one of these?

I'm really happy how the X4 turned out, love all the new tech and exterior design.

I plan on placing an order for the M40i this spring/summer to replace an aging 2007 X5.

Anybody else plan pulling the trigger?

-Any estimate as to when we'll know all the options/packages/colors?
-Tow package?

M40i is starting to look very promising. I wish the rear fenders were wider... but with wide wheels the overall look may be sufficiently aggressive...

Production started in April at Spartanburg. Dealers start to receive cars in July 2018.

I'm guessing production numbers released in May for June production.

about to order 2019 x4m went to my dealer on saturday, test drove the x3m and it was a huge improvement over my 2015. some big changes I noticed were, better road feel, nice m exhaust which has a sweet mellow garble on downshifts, much improved head up display, nav screen is much wider, seats were more comfortable, changing from comfort to sport mode is a bigger difference than before, when you're pulling away from start around the time the doors lock the seat belts automatically pull themselves in on you and then back off just a bit weird at first as I did not expect it. seems to respond even quicker to accelerator than before which was never a problem. interior is much improved in tactile quality as well as looks.

After thinking about the x4 for a couple months, I think I'm going to ride it out for the M variant.

Late 2019 release?

Loving ours! A couple small issues after delivery that were fixed in one service visit. Headlight was melted, interior ambient lighting was not working on 3 doors and a service light. Nothing major and was somewhat expected in a new build.
