F25 winter wheels non runflats

Hello, does anyone know if there are any genuine reasons not to fit the 17 inch winter wheel and tyre combination non runflats tyres to an F25 on standard suspension?

I've read that the suspension on BMWs is optimised for runflats, yet a standard SE spec F25 comes with 17 inch non runflats....

No, there is no reason.

In Germany run flats are optional!

As has been discussed before - buy a set of 12V compressor and sealent/slime/gunk from Amazon or other source.

My car runs all year round on 17" nonRF with vdc and I like the ride balance options a lot.

I would buy a second hand set and fit the TPMS sensors if your car uses the newer system. In total I paid £700 compared to £1500 from BMW

Thanks for your replies.

Decided just to go for a new set of 17" with the Dunlop Wintersport 3D for £1200 from BMW, and hopefully they'll get fitted this weekend.
