My 2006 X3 (E83 3.0i Gasoline) rejuvenation is coming along nicely. One of my next steps was to get a Remus exhaust installed. Unfortunately, I contacted Remus when I no longer saw an E83 gas (non-diesel) option on their website, and they confirmed they discontinued this item.
Any recommendations on suitable alternatives to Remus or anyone know a shop that still has a Remus one in stock? Thanks!

Supersprint has a REALLY nice exhaust system. And, you can build your own based on a budget. go full boar with headers and everything (they are the only company who offers headers that fit the e83) or you can dial it down to just the rear muffler. Turner Motorsports is the US distributor, so create your order through Supersprints website here:
http://www.supersprint.com/ww-en/bmw...004--2005.aspx Then at checkout, you choose how your order is distributed, AKA via Turner. Supersprint will send your order over to them for final pricing, and their Supersprint senior sales guy, Doug Mahar, will give you a call/email. I have the entire 3-piece "cat-back" system on it's way from Italy right now, Doug got me better pricing than is listed on the Supersprint website, plus free shipping, etc. really awesome service. My order was around $1200 for the 3-piece catback system. should arrive in Feb, can't wait! if you want more info, DM me and i will give you Doug's contact info - maybe he could get you the same deal as me? |

Thanks for the link. I stumbled upon Supersprint when I was looking for Remus alternatives. I had not seen anyone mention on on an X3 until now. I look forward to hearing your review when it is installed. I'm interested . . . but working my wheels now and then some paint issues first. I've got the exhaust and brake kit on the future "to do" list.
