Remove Grill

Hi folks,

I want to replace the kidney grill with a black one. But I don't want to remove the front bumper. I wonder what tools I can use?

The following video shows me how, but I just don't know where to get the tools:

Thanks

I believe most hardware stores would carry a U or L shaped hook. I did mine with a butter knife! But I also have skinny ass hands and arms and was able to stick my hand and wrist between the slots. Once you remove the first grill the second one is super easy as you just reach the back via the grill that's removed. It's really not that difficult of a process to remove and I've never done it before either.

I did just that this weekend.
Top clips are easy to access, but bottom ones a guarded by plastic from inside and are very hard to reach. I spent 40 minutes on them and almost declared to remove the front bumper cover. Then just walking around I picked a garage hook laying on shelf. In 5 minutes both grills were out. Picture is attached.
This hook is under a dollar in Home Deport.

I used the end hook on a tie-down strap; similar to the storage hook but a little smaller. Now that I look at it, the storage hook would probably be better.

A flat head will work just fine, thats all I used. It takes a little more pull than you think it would. Took me a couple of tries just because I was a scared to yank on it and break it. It does take some force to remove it. I released the tabs with a screwdriver, gave it a little wiggle and a pull and she came right out, fully intact.
