Advice on bluetooth extended connectivity
Just put a deposit down on a X3 MSport 2.0d
I have a choice of cars, the main difference between the two is: One has bluetooth connectivity and antidazzle rear view mirror, The other has a tail gate. What exactly does the bluetooth connectivity extended actually do? The salesman said he can give me a cord to get this done? We want the one where the iphone can actually clip into the center dash. |

hi drunkntiqr,
teh bluetooth extended connectivity is used for stream music to teh stereo system, and voice calling as well..... if you have the bluetooth extended connectivity, then you don't need the cable any more, for answering your question, the iphoen holder which from BMW is located inside the central box inbetween the front passager and driver seat and it cost A$170 which i don't see the point why you need it. instead, it is more useful to have the bluetooth extended connectivity installed in order to stream music to the stereo system. cheers ppduck |

You need 6NK for the cradle as I understand it. Having the cradle is preferable IMO: no USB cable to get trapped in the armrest, more secure, looks cleaner, signal is boosted through car's aerial, frees up the USB port for other devices. On the downside it takes up too much space and you can't use a case with it
