and even those pictures really doesn't do it justice. I know its a matter of personal taste, but they really look great in person. and the contrast stitching on them shows really well.

the track time consists of 4 things: obstacle course (driving around cones); ABS exercise (slamming on brakes); skid pad (to show stability control effect); then a hot lap with the instructors (un-freaking-believable!) |

I don't know what your salesman is trying to accomplish but there were 8 people picking up their cars including me that day. No one had a M anything (other than the hot lap experience). I remember two x3's. 550. 7 series. A 6 series. AN x5 and 2 128i convertibles. All had the same experience I did and it was well described here by the previous post

I followed up with him. Looks like he was referring to the full day performance driving course, not the track experience you were talking about.
Probably won't be able to do PCD anyway though -- California's a long way to drive the car back to! |

i read on the pcd stuff they sent me before I went that if you do that then you have to pay the charge to send it to your home - so yes, you can, but the cost to ship is yours

Short answer yes, but you are responsible to pay shipping from Spartanburg to your destination. As for the other question regarding avoiding the destination charge posted in anothervquestion answer there is no. You still have to pay. My experience was worth the 875 much more than paying it anyway and picking it up at my dealer.
