Quicker to make a baby
Its official its quicker to make a baby than take delivery of a BMW X3.. My baby girl has arrived before my X3.. I placed my orginal order in December 2010.. my anticipated delivery date is November 11th..
What are BMW doing.. Is the X3 actually manufactured in this world.. I mean are they building it on the moon... The whole point of ordering the X3 was so that i could have it before our baby arrived as this rate she will hav graduated from uni before the car arrives.. very very poor show .. just wish i could cancel! i've never known anything like it.. |

Congratulations on your new baby girl!
I agree it is a very poor show and I would not have ordered at all if I was told 5 or more months (I was told 2-2.5 months and it took 4 in total which seemed a long time but is nothing compared to what people are faced with now). Our baby boy had to put up with a 3 door GTI for nearly a year from birth but you can tell he much prefers the X3 and it was worth waiting for

it's been such a long wait that i've thought about just getting the new 5 series instead or getting the z4 or 3 series coupe as a 2nd car! maybe that's what bmw is after! haha

What would you expect? You dont need much equipments making a baby than making a car.
Kidding aside, I was one of the lucky ones who ordered before the tsunami in Japan. Got the the car whithin 4 weeks... a month prior to having our beautiful baby. I built mine with all the baby friendly options, no wonder our baby likes riding on it. |
