Replaced battery on Key Fob but warning still persists

Should the warning eventually go away? Do I need to clear a code on via OBD II?

I had the warning lots when my comfort access on my E91 was failing. Changing the battery didn't help because it was a comfort access handle/module issue.

Is the comfort access working normally?

Hold the key fob next to the key decal on the steering column. That made mine go away and the comfort access started working again.

I did have both front windows and regulators replaced with a new kit and the polarity on the switches is reversed. Need to get them flashed with right programming. Windows behaved irraddically when using handle to open door

Comfort access is complex and seems to cause different issues. When my first door handle failed it caused a drain on the battery and eventually shut down the whole system. When the antenna failed it started giving key fob battery issues.
My car was from Montreal originally, I don't think the system likes cold winters or salt much.

I started getting the battery warning coincidencially when I was on vacation 12 days ago in Colorado, where it was cold. The same week I had several other warnings (camera system, due to frozen slush), low coolant, etc.

Luckily, replacing the battery when I returned home solved that problem.

The car's sensors don't seem to like cold weather.
