Outstanding photography!
I think you captured almost every angle and facet of this amazing vehicle. Congrats and maybe hope to see your vehicle around!

I actually got my coupe from Orland Park. Haven't decided yet where to get the X3 from yet. Still waiting for a chance to test drive the 35i since nobody has one in the West suburbs.

I believe Perillo has a 35i in stock as a test drive guinea, if they haven't sold it by now. You should venture towards the city and drive it.

I had actually rented a Nikon D700 for the week and I intended to use it for this, but I hadn't the time to take these pictures before I had to give it back. So I am back using my D90. The lenses here vary from a 50mm f1.4, a 35mm f2, and a 180mm f2.8. |

i think black probably looks the best
WHEN its clean, which on a black car is a rare event my only issue with the sport package is the chrome window surround that was actually the ONLY reason i did not get sport can't stand chrome when i can have black |

Really? I feel like the chrome window trim adds a sense of class to it. Maybe it's just that this is our family car...we wanted it to be as nice as possible without spending 80,000 (after taxes) on an X5. I feel more grown up with the trim.

Fantastic pics! I'm ordering my next X3 in April (a replacement of an original 2004 X3). Trying to decide between Black Sapphire and Vermillion Red. Your pics have swayed me back toward the black spectrum!
Congrats and enjoy!! |

ahhh i understand. the gas station car wash does not clean any car as well as a staffed car washer. luckily the garagemen in my building clean the cars weekly, but after two days in this cold and dirty winter, dust and dirt collects like film on the black paint.
