F25 oil pan bolt torque specs

Hi all,

I'm in the middle of the timing and oil pump drive chain job, and need to know the oil pan torque specs. There are 3 different kinds of bolts, and 3 studs with nuts.

When I'm done with the oil pan, would also love to know the torque specs for the following: (N20 4cyl engine)

Subframe to chassis bolts
Differential to oil pan
Axle carrier to oil pan (passenger side)

I'll post some nice pics and outline some of the challenges I faced in this job soon!

Thank you for that - the subframe is actually called the axle support and those appear to be the correct values.

Do you have the oil pan fastener tightening torques? These should be something like 8-10 N-m + 90 or 180deg.

I should clarify I have a 2013 X3 with the 4 cylinder N20 engine!

Thank you in advance!

Thank you so much for that! That covers the oil pan to block as well as the 3X oil pan to bell housing - awesome!

Thought it was shut down by BMW, or are there new developments?

Site is still up, running under the radar...I got registered the day it was shutdown, I'm told there are times when they open to register via email address but no idea how it's controlled. maybe best you can do is periodically check the site.
