BMW Apps(6NR). Is this only for iPhone?

Is the BMW Apps (6NR) only of use with an iPhone, ie will it work with other Smartphones like Nokia, Samsung & Blackberry?

I assume that it is gaining internet access via the iphone's 3g connection. Does this mean that it would be very expensive to use when 'roaming'?

Yes, it's iPhone only. Internet access is not tethered in the UK. It's through the car's SIM and it is dog slow (not 3G) unfortunately.

BMW apps are for iPhone, blackberry and other listed phones. Currently Internet access is through SIM card in X3 used for BMW Assist. To use Internet, you need to sign up annual contract.
