iPod using USB in glovebox?
So we use a 160gb iPod with some problems. It will freeze often and need resets despite turning the car to radio before turning it off, etc...
As the USB port in the glovebox has that that says that is mainly used for transferring music collections and data, is that port for high speed and high amounts of data? Has anyone plugged their iPod in there with any issues?

As this port is basically designed for keeping the backups. It's capacity should be limited to the HD of X3 used for storing music and profiles. I dont think you should connect 132gb iPod to this port. I have connected 32gb flash to this port. This is not USB 3 fast port, it supports upto USB 2.0

It locks up constantly and disconnects constantly. We just don't want to shell out 2 or 3 for a touch, when we have a perfectly good HUGE capacity iPod :-\
