Recommendations for Salt Lake City area independent mechanic

I'm going to be in Salt Lake, specifically Midvale, for several months and would like to find a good independent mechanic for my X3 35i. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Really? Either everyone in Salt Lake uses the dealer for repairs or doesn't keep their cars longer than the warranty period. Or maybe that they aren't happy with the indie repair people.
