Still learning! I have a PMA2 module. I'm trying to code speed lock for the cameras, which are indicated to be in the PDC and TRSVC modules

Your PMA2 module contains your PDC and TRSVC functions.

Thanks shawnsheridan. I'm trying to find the equivalent in the PMA2 module and I can't seem to find any equivalent:

PDC:
3009 D_SCHWELLE_2
3009 V_SCHWELLE_2

TRSVC:
3000 SV_Activate_Speed_Limit
3000 SV_Deactivate_Speed

Here's a link to the my FDL list:

Sorry, but I can't help you there. I do not have a PMA module, and never examined one before either.

close with fob

anyone have any success with the following:
closing mirror/windows/moon roof with fob?
disable seatbelt gong?

for close with fob, i couldn't find frm/3020/asp_beiklappen_bei_komfortsc hliessen which is listed on the cheat sheet

btw for video in motion i couldn't find the listed video_nur_mit_handbremse but i used hu_nbt/3000hmi/video speedlock condition instead and it seemed to work. also the module wasn't called hu_cic i believe it was hu_nbt

Yes I have and it is up to date. I've spent hours this week coding and its fun! I've even discovered many more items that I can customize using the F30 and F15 cheat sheets.

I haven't disabled the seatbelt gong but I did get the mirror/windows/moon to close with the fob when locking the vehicle. "asp_beiklappen_bei_komfortsc hliessen" is in the FRM, just do a search for "asp_beik"..it should come up. The mirrors were a bit finicky to code. There were 3 settings in total I was changed

asp_beiklappen_bei_komfortschliessen
asp_ausklappen_nach_komfortschliessen
komfortschlissung_FB

I had to do them 1 at a time to work and even then only after a few hours..very strange but its working now.

Enhanced Bluetooth Upgrade Help

Hi,

I have just recently bought an X3 30d (registered in October 2013, UK model) and am very happy with it. The only thing I want that it doesn’t have, however, is enhanced Bluetooth with office.

I have the professional Nav system (609) and the hands free facility (6NH), and believe I need to change the 6NH option to 6NS.

I have read on this thread how to do it but I have never done this before so, as not to brick my new car, I am hoping that one of you gurus could review my procedure below and advise if I have understood it all correctly.

Follow your initial instructions:
1. ENET cable
2. E-Sys software 3.26.1 with EST token and Pin
3. psdzdata 54.2
4. A dedicated laptop with Windows 7 with minimum 16 GB of free space
And install.

Then use the document (E-Sys – How to change FA in F-series car.pdf), attachment, posted by ShawnSheridan in this post:
http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...65&postcount=9
for guidance.

I have the following question:
In step 6, it says delete/add FA from the SALAPA element. In my case, I assume I will see 6NH in the window and all I have to do is delete and replace with 6NS? Then just follow the instruction thereafter?

As I say, all I want to do in update to enhanced BT with office so do not want to do more than I have to, or risk any trouble.

I would also appreciate a link to the required software noted above.

Many thanks in advance.
Mark

Hi Shawn,
I know this one may be a little bit out of topic, but nevertheless it has to do with "entering into the machine's guts"...
I would like to know if there is a way of connecting to the CIC hard drive to manage music files and folders, like renaming and moving files?
Tks in advance

It is possible, but not an easy thing. CIC can be accessed via Telnet / FTP and Hard Drive Mounted, but it is QNX platform.

As far as I am concerned though, music on CIC Hard Drive is worthless anyway as it will not display .mp3 Album Art. To get Album Art, you must use USB Flash Drive in Center Armrest as it is processed via the Combox.

Tks Shawn!
And is there any software or emulator to connect to it?
I know I won't have album art displayed but all I want to do is to rearrange the music folders and files already copied/imported in the HD.

I think you need the QNX Developer Platform, but I am not sure about this.

Hello Everyone,
I took possession of my 2016 BMW X3 35i last month. Looking to perform some coding to change a couple of minor things. I have an Enet cable, but just need the software. Any help?
