Ordered 35i: Black Sapphire/Sand Beige. The wait begins!
Deceided to order an X3 instead of taking one off of the lot.
35 i Black Sapphire/Sand Beige Dynamic handling, cold weather, convenience, SAP, premium, technology, 19" w/mixed performance, hi-fi, satellite, BMW apps. There weren't too many boxes I didn't check. I'm looking at early to mid September delivery, hopefully sooner. Now I'm shopping tire rack for some winter wheels and tires.

Good for you... I have been doing the same....waiting. I think I have settled on the LM60 Blizzak as a dedicated snow tire. High enough speed rating and really unstopable in the snow. I have been waiting 2 months...2 more weeks to go...
Good luck. |

On way or another I am getting another set of the 19" M Sport Package wheels. Not a staggered set. They have the LM60 in the OEM size and what I can see it will be best for me. I can sacrifice some handling etc.. But we got over 650inches last season and when I need to go I need to go!
From the research I have done seems like the best snow tire that also has decent handling and a higher speed rating. I have used a lot of snow tires up here and the control with the blizzaks is the best. BTW. Anyone out there with a set of 369s I am a buyer |

I am going to get the LM60's also. I've been using them the past 3 winters on my 335XI. I'd love OEM rims but that's probably a bit pricey.

Nokian Hakkas are great, as well. I converted from Blizzaks to studded Nokians and the performance delta is large! Something to look at! Also, if you go with the 225 17" per the spec of the X3, you can get the Hakkas in a runflat tire.
good luck. btw, my rig is somewhere in the middle of the country. Have no clue when it'll get here. it is scheduled to be in CA by the end of the week. |
