LED with Capacitors
Should these-or any other branded-LEDs pose a problem for an X3 that came with the halogen headlight bulbs (let's assume the capacitors/warning canceller is also ordered).

Drop in LEDs are illegal for use on public roads. They output excessive glare to oncoming traffic as well poor light pattern, especially when installed in a reflector housing designed for a Halogen bulb LEDs in Halogen headlights |

Very insightful thank you. That being said, what is a legal, better, brighter alternative other than the "ultra bright" halogen sold at let's say your local Autozone? I've "upgraded" to the brightest OTC halogens but there appears to be no difference in overall brightness. I'm addition, how much of an impact does wrapping the lenses have with yellow or a smoke tint? |

Get these H7 Ultra High Output Vosla Halogen bulbs, they're 2100 lumens vs 1500 for stock Halogens, plug and play
Sure, if you don't mind less light output, tint them, BTW tint is illegal too |
