Hubcentric Rings

Will hubcentric rings cause issues? The dealership told me that even with the use of hubcentric rings (both aluminium and plastic types) for rims, there will be vibrations at high speeds on the road?

I am looking at a wheel that has a centerbore of 74.1 (vs 72.56 needed for the X3). I would need a hubcentric ring for the difference.

Thanks!

I've used them before. No problems. Dealer doesn't like anything aftermarket.

BBS, O.Z. etc. package their wheels with hub centric rings.
