Hi

I have ordered a new X3 and the specification includes the professional nav but I want to make sure I have the correct options selected to have full control of my iphone via the iDrive controller. My dealer indicates that professional nav has changed and therefore the necessary options but I could do with some advice as I had the same problem with my current X1 which ended up missing a couple of options therefore meaning I could not control the iPhone!

Have a search for 6NR. This is the BMW order code for what you need to be able to control your iPhone/iPod through the iDrive.
Or just add BMW Apps in the configurator and it should automatically add in the other options that are required.

I assume you mean for music? Pro nav will be enough for you to connect using the white USB into the armrest port and browse and play music. You will also be able to play over Bluetooth Audio.

The other options are for BMW Apps (6NR) and playing music when in the cradle (6NF)
