2 days. Feel quite good about having made the right choice.

Should be able to make an informed decision at the end
Sounds good, will be interested to hear your thoughts

What else are you testing?
Testing 2 price points - <$50k and >$60k. More to satisfy my wife that we really should spend this much money Have driven so far:
Vw tiguan 103tdi
Hyundai ix35D
Subaru Forester D
Mazda CX7D
Audi Q5 2.0D petrol
BMW X1 2.3D

With the Volvo and x3 last on the list.

This category is all about compromise. You trade off the individual traits in off-road, power, handling, styling, bling, comfort, etc in order to increase others. The obvious finding is of course - the more you pay the less you compromise. Without having driven the x3 yet the Q5 wins the overall package but the X1 was sheer fun to drive if a little rough around the edges. I only wish I could stretch to the 3.0d. I'm working on it

See I always thought they were required to go with you in the US, so that is NOT the case... So basically they are told to go along to answer any questions and if you question anything to shut you up and change the subject? LOL

Yep, dealer just handed me the keys and said: "Have fun." I was actually stunned. But being able to really drive each of them around helped me make the right decision.
