The X5 will be hit by the luxury tax in Taiwan which will raise its price another 10%. The X3 doesn't get hit.

So a 2.0D is around $2.3 million NT, and the 3.0D is about $3. Order today and get delivery next year....LOLs! So if he wants one, get in line!

After I tested the two X3 the other day I went over to an Audi dealership. Walked around for 10 minutes and no one approached me. On the floor they had a nice Q7 but no Q5. In the parking lot there were a few Q5s. Look nice on the outside. The Q7 is a bit big for my needs and the Q5 looks a littler small.

I think the interior of the Q5 arguably might be better and some likes the looks of the Q5. I like the engine of the X3 and most likely the driving dynamics.

When I was test driving there was a X3 35I M package ready to be delivered to it's owner. Black, loaded up. Pretty hot. $70k Canadian though.

Same experience. walking to the Audi dealership with my wife, walking around in the lobby for 15 min, and no sales approached us. Wife doesn't like the interior design of the Q5. I will take X3 over Q5 anytime.
