Will BMW not tint it for you to give you the matching/identical tint as to not have 2 diff tints/shades?

A few questions:

1 - X line delete, I assume it was just for esthetics reasons you got rid of it? Is it really a $1000 to delete it??? It comes part of the Premium package on the X35.

The one reason I was considering deleting it is if I wanted to add a hitch later on, you'd have to cut out the rear lower valence, which I'm guessing would be this satin plastic.

2 - Which colour wood is that? Wave brown? Looks nice. I'm thinking of getting that instead of aluminum.

3 - Sport package - Did you ride in a non sport package X3? Curious how the regular seats compare to the sport ones. The regular ones seemed to have decent side support...

4 - Do you mind sharing what discount, if any, you got from MSRP, and if you had a trade, and how happy you were with the $ they gave you for it? Just wondering if they gave you a great trade, with nothing off MSRP, for example.
I'm also curious re: above questions. I'm driving for two hours tomorrow to meet with BMW dealer to have them appraise my 2002 Honda Civic SiR hatch.

I'll be getting M-Sport package which deletes X-line. The sales guy said he would investigate a slight discount because the X-line cost would no longer apply. (I may try to get him to throw in Head Up display for free).

I'm considering Carbon Black with the wave brown and black leather.

Same question re: sport seat vs. regular. I've been told the Canadian M-sports don't have the leather/cloth seats that the US M-sports have. Curious what I'm getting!

Getting excited. Expect to order tomorrow.

100% agree with this... I'm going to order one of these soon too and I would love to know what options you exaclty took to make it look like this good.
Is there an m-sport package on this one? I can't see on these pics if it has the M intakes on the front bumpers or not

When you order chestnut leather, does it cover the back of the front seats or is it still the black colored lining?
With the chestnut leather it does not cover entire back of front seat.

For crying out loud, I can't stop looking at these pics! This is the best looking X3 I've ever seen. The wide stance is remarkable. I live in a snowy climate and drive up to go skiing/snowboarding 3-4 times per week, and I'm pretty sure I need my own.

How did your dealer delete the x-line, mine in Winnipeg is not sure if it can be done. Is it only an option to delete when you order another package (sport or m for example)?

I ordered an X3 28i Jet Black, Black Leather, Satin Trim, Tech, Nav, Exec and Apps. I asked the dealer to complete a custom order and told him I was aware there was a $400.00 charge for the X-Line delete, as well as, if possible, brushed aluminum trim and anthracite liner.

My SA/CA says he contacted BMW Canada, who advised him that they have NEVER heard of the X-Line package being deleted, nor of any of the other special orders.

Can anyone provide me some insight or a contact at BMW Canada that I can contact to attempt to have my order modified.

Thanks,
Guy

Car is beautiful! I got mine last weekend with the sane color choices as you did. Did you upload your photos on a mobile device or computer? I don't see where to add pics? Food luck with the car

Congrats OP, those are probably the best photos I've seen of the F25 yet. The all black is making me reconsider my current thought process...I hope they give us an X-line delete option or even an all-black option here in the US before I order.

I see that you have the bigger wheels but do not have the Sport Activity package (Can make out from your gear selector)...

Here in US, we have to order the SAV package to get the 309s..

We're whiny and BMW doesn't like to hear us bitch and moan about being cold, let alone our children in the backseat.

Could it be spacers to make the wheel stick out more? I know the 275 rears make a difference but somehow car looks lower up front and wider all around.

Tempted to go 245 50 18 for winter and 245/275 19s for summer.

Or maybe BMW has concluding evidence that no Canadian ever uses the rear seats...
