Aftermarket Tail lights?

Hi,

I have been updated the look of my car a little bit here and there with the hopes of making something that looks unique out on the road, but still good.

I wanted to swap out the tail lights (not a bit fan of the stock ones) but have been unable to find anything for the new X3's. In the interim I have applied a smoke out film to the front and back, but I'm really unimpressed with the quality of the product and I think i'm going to have to take it off unfortunately. So I'm back to square 1.

With that in mind, does anyone know of anywhere that offers aftermarket tail lights for the new X3's? I'm finding the aftermarket products to be really lacking at this point...

Thanks!

I doubt anyone will make aftermarket tail lights for the X3, just too small of a market.

I would wait a bit. I'm certain BMW will do a mid-cycle refresh on the X3 in the next year or so and I'll bet they include LED tail lights. All their other vehicles have LED tails now so I feel it's only a matter of time. Then you can probably do an OEM retrofit of the new tails and they'll be good quality too.

The euro tails are pretty cool, I saw a bunch of them on vehicles when I did my PDC factory tour. At first you can't even tell they're amber, but if you look closely you can see it.

Are there any bulbs out there for the rear brake, signals...or the front signals that are LED that won't cause error codes?

Those euro tails are a nice touch! Pricey, but definitely a unique look. I have not seen any of those around here yet. Thanks for the link!!

Cheers

This is actually something I've been planning on looking into more. I'll probably order some and if I find some that work I'll post a thread detailing it.
