New wipers UK

Hi guys, am looking into changing the wipers out on my UK spec X3 F25, searching around, can't seem to be able to pin point exactly which blades I need.

Am thinking they're bosch ap26u & ap19u's?

Anyone recommend where/what to buy?

Thanks in advance

Not sure about auto parts stores in the UK...but at mine in the US I could either go to a web site or go in store and there was a kiosk to enter my car details for what was compatible. Bought mine, installed them in about a minute and they worked great.

Ordered some Bosch ones through eBay, they tie up size wise...will keep you posted.

Cost £29 for fronts and rear!

That sounds like a really good price. I sourced mine from the BMW store on Amazon and they were delivered by BMW Park Lane, which is where I bought my car coincidentally. The price was around £60 for the pair (not including the rear), which is the same price from the dealer direct.

I use these too; very good value, for a top brand too.

Thanks for this information Anygreg - that is less than half the price of the stock BMW wipers, which are probably Bosch anyway!

Tested them out today in the typical English weather, silent and super smooth, I always fit Bosch aerotwins, they just work

Note that the Bosh have a slightly different profile than the original BMW's, also the 'adapter' plastic thing is not as smooth as the original, so there might be a bit of a increase in drag. But yes so far the Bosh ones are working very well...

Correct, you can see the centre spindle once fitted, but hey, for the price.
Also the work well, with the amount of rain we've had as well, they have been well and truly tested.
