The side creases just look wrong to me. Kind of ruin the entire look of the car from any angle that shows the side :/ It also looks waaaaay too tall for the length, could do with an inch or two coming off of that imo. Has so much potential otherwise!

It actually does look very nice. I'm very interested to see the performance side of it before I make my final conclusion.
In my opinion the X6 is far more appealing than the X5 due to its sporty nature. I hope this would be the same comparison between the X3 and X4.
I still think BMW are making too many models, we are probably going to hear a X4M coming soon....
Very beautiful mini SUV thought! Good job BMW

the least things you would want from a fast car are high center of gravity, short wheel base, and heavy weight. This just gets all three....

So many creases on the side. Just like the 4 series, I doubt any of the cooler features will make it to production - bumpers, lights, side mirrors to name a few. Seems a bit too tall for the length.

I like it, but the headlamps, the shape of them, they're just... so... Audi.

And that is not a good thing.

I dont see the point of this car. BMW trying to fulfill too many niches. Nice to look at I guess

I would be real interested to know how much BMW spends on taking an existing platform, and bringing out a new variant. IE: 3 & 5 GT, X4, etc.

IMO, I just don't understand the car at all. The X6, X4, all the GT's... Why? What customer was screaming that they wanted a coupe profile on an AWD SUV? Or who asked to replace the tourings with a sedan that has a higher roof line?

However, I'm sure they will sell.

Not too bad but I'll stick to my beloved M3/M4 or 5er.

Let me get this straight, they go the trouble of separating the 3 and 4 series based on number of doors, but ignore their own logic when it comes to the X series? My OCD is tingling.

Perhaps this should be the X4 Gran Coupe edition, leaving room for the possibility of a 2 door version ala Mini Paceman.

Regardless, I wish BMW would stop spending RnD on these X models and give us here in the States some proper Touring models. I don't want your X and I don't want your AT, I want RWD and I to be able to manually select my own gears please and thank you.

Other than all of my qualms above, I do appreciate their new design language.

The 2 door X model ala Mini Paceman (infact sharing Mini Platforms) will be the X2... IIRC.. I'm sure that's what SCOTT said.

Finally!
Been eager to see this car for a while, and it's better than expected.
Sure, it will look more "civil" in production form, as the 4 and other consept have been.
But a nice contribution to the line up, this will sell very well imo.
The LBB is not exactly Estoril class, maybe in Valencia Orange or Imola it would be more sexy!
