1-8 Presets disappearing, coming back, and disappearing again??

Bought a new X3 2 nights ago and we set a few presets the night we got it. Yesterday morning all presets were gone, and then randomly at night while getting dinner they all came back. This morning, all presets are gone again. This includes the 1-8 presets and the seat position preset.

Has this happened to anyone else? Curious if this is an electrical issues already.

I think the presets will be remembered based on the key you are using. If you are not using the same key each time then that might explain what you are seeing.

How about to read owner's manual?? I'm sure you will find another interesting functions of your new toy...

I think you can forgive someone for not having absorbed the owners manual of this car after a couple days. I've read the manual back to back twice and there are still stuff I'm figuring out.

I have also had the presets randomly disappear. I use the same key exclusively as it has my office access fob on it as well. Suggestions?

I would guess both keys were in the car, but if not this could happen if the battery starts to loose its capacity.

Was it a used car? Might just have been a low battery and needs a few miles to charge it up properly.
Most of these batteries only last properly for around 5 years now though, they monitor so much all the time.
