Speedometer
Took delivery of the car yesterday. Didn't have the chance to really explore it yet.
The first thing I noticed when I drove the car home yesterday was the showing of only km/h on the speedometer. Is this the norm? We drive to the States from time to time and they only display their speed limits in mph. I guess this is something I will need to get used to? |

Noticed the same thing on the BMW CA Design Configurator page. Kph only is the CA norm. Always wondered why the CA models did not have MPH calibrations, while the US models have both mph and kph. The digital display on US models can also be set to read in kilometers or miles for distance or fuel consumption readings.

Yeah, it's weird. Audi's are the same (at least they were when I last had one). Never made sense to me as pretty much every other car has had both since the 70's.
You can display either on the digital displays like Lotus7 said. |
