Remote Start?

This past Sunday.. I had a weird message come up on my dash after I got inside and pressed the start stop button to start the vehicle. "Remote Start could not be initialized, please place FOB in front of steering wheel and try again"... any idea??

Something was blocking or interfering with the signal from your keyfob (or it has a low battery).

You get a similar message if you exit the car with the keyfob while the engine is running.

When my iPhone 5 is next to the key fob I get that message...

mmm.. starting to make sense.. as the one adder I have done to the vehicle is a Wilson cell signal booster for my droid... that might be some of the interference in my case. Has only happened once.. hopefully an isolated incident.
