Very few been delivered in the UK I think. I was given a 4-5 month lead time when I ordered mine last month, but have actually had to delay it until May 2015 to coincide with the end of my current lease.

Saw the first live one today, very rare still. Think big discounts might come soon!

In the uk I think it's way over priced, 35D with some goodies comes way over X5 pricing.

Saw one a month or so ago across a roundabout, took me a while to realize it wasn't a new X6! Don't know if it was being driven by an owner or by someone working for the local Sytner dealer, it was a Glacier Silver M-Sport model, only got a back angle but it didn't look as horrible as I thought it would irl. Only just saw a facelift X3 last week so it looks like they're rolling out slowly

Haven't seen any on the road yet, my dealer has a demonstrator which is the only one I've seen. Dealer also tells me not much interest.

Maybe it's not a UK thing, how was the X6 received in the UK?

Don't know how successful but I see few every day. May be because it's been the market for longer.

I'm not so sure about that to be honest, the X4 was always going to be a niche low volume model.

It runs down the same interchangeable production line as the X3.

Given that the factory cannot meet global demand for the X3 and the current lead time is 38 weeks in the UK it makes absolutely no sense to produce for stock a niche car which may not sell and have to be heavily discounted when they can sell all the factory can produce and more at virtually full price.

Far better just to allow factory orders

It is just a click on a computer to determine what rolls down the line
