3.0l now on BMW UK site

There is still no official word on the 4cyl error and as above the config system has some bugs. Spoke to a dealer who knew less than we do. Appears they have no word when new info will be sent to them. Head office said only dealers can advise as their "knowledge base" states 4cyl. Anyone get anything more concrete?

It still talks about 4 cylinder.
It says 255hp, but elsewhere it says 258hp.

There are no packages if you select either 3.0d or 3.0d M-Sport.
And the optional equipment seems to be missing some things have some problems.
e.g. no Xenon's.
if you select Navigation-system Professional - it adds for free

although the business version is still £1775. Would be nice to think free with 3.0d - but clearly not

All in all, what an amazingly poor show from BMW and their web admins!

Well, at least they're consistent!

The UK website is a stain on the BMW brand

Just had a look at this nonsense on bmw.co.uk, configured an xDrive30d M Sport and saw all the anomalies marmite pointed out. I have contact details for the Internet Marketing Manager at BMW UK so I have forwarded these points onto her and asked if anyone actually checks the content before it's put on the production website. I think the answer is no.

I've had a UK brochure for several weeks and it clearly states that the xDrive30d is 6 cylinder, 4 valve.
