I hope one of those X3s on the transporters was Alpine White with Sun Protection Glass !!! If they are going up the M6 then they are on the wrong motorway for Thorne.

Its annoying.....
My car insurance on current car (to be part ex) is due, two days before expected pickup, and BMW have dropped £1,600 off the part ex evaluation that was done at point of order back in Feb (they wouldn't fix the price). I am trying not to drive my current car to stop any further were and tear, and give them an excuse to drop the price further.
I just want the new car NOW!!!

ouch! i better go look at my paperwork but i thought my part ex eval was fixed (same dealer as you).

my road tax does run out end Sept and the car requires a service in 1000 miles so hopefully i do get the car next wk!

Just spoken to my dealer and the current status of the car is 'consigned' It should be with them on the 3rd October.

I assume consigned means it is still on a ship somewhere....

Yours must have been on the earlier boat, dealer still telling me that mine due to them on the 29th. Assume on the Independence II, which is expected to arrive at Southampton on 24th..... that's a slow journey (5 days) from Southampton to Reading if true.

Just enter Independence 2 in the "Go to Vessel" field on left hand side.

I think my order must be on the Independence II, even through I can see it on W&W. My stealer reported yesterday, it should be OK to collect at end of month and the current status is 9610 'in transit'. I looked at the location of the Independence II and it missed the turn for Southampton!!

Yep, unfortunately we have to wait for it to drop off at Bremerhaven (on the 19th) and then Antwerp (on the 22nd) first, then its due in Southampton on the 24th......more waiting.
Why it doesn't unload first a Southampton as it is passing and then continue journey to Europe...I don't know.... surely more fuel used on a full load. BMW and their so called 'Green Credentials', that's assuming the cargo is all BMW's.

call it excitement but i'm starting to think about what accessories i should be getting for the x3, narrowed it down to the following

exhaust trim - looks like this is a must have?
snap in adapter - only have 6NH specified so not sure about the benefits other than for charging/improve signal strength?
mud flaps - wanted to DIY it but from the threads i've seen, the fit seems to be an issue?

anything else i'm missing?

I am thinking of getting the chrome tip and mud flaps also. Not too bothered about the snap in adaptor - think I'll just leave the phone in my pocket.
