Instrument Cluster LCD Backlight Issue
Purchased a low mileage 2012 F25 in December, drove it home from Florida, and pretty quickly launched Bimmercode to make the adjustments I prefer like I've coded on my other bimmers.
After re-launching one of the ECU's, the backlit area of the LCD screen increased in size and shape - from a square to a rectangle. I've attached a mock-up what I recall as the 'before' version along with the current 'after' version. It seems I've irreparably damaged the LCD screen, unless, I'm just totally mis-remembering how it appeared before I began coding, though I find that hard to grasp. Nothing's actually wrong, it's just aesthetically unpleasing. Anyone else seen a change in the back-lit area of their instrument cluster - whether after coding or just after time? |

Lamentably, that adjustment wheel only affects the non-digital portions of instrument cluster - has no effect on the brightness or backlighting of the LCD screen.

Change the coding back to stock and see if it changes backlight issue.
