Rear Sensor
My wife accidental pushed in one of the sensor located on the driver side rear bumper.
Does anyone have any tricks to get this out and put it back in place? I tried using a tweezer but couldn't get it out. Do I need to remove the bumper trim to get in and push it out? Trying to avoid doing this. |

You might try this trick suggested by a poster on a Jaguar forum with a similar problem.
"I used two small fishing hooks. I straightened the fishing hooks, but I bent the tips about 45 degrees or more. Then I grabbed two pairs of needle nose pliers to hold the fishing hooks and use them like a crab's claw. The tips will fit in the little recess on the sensor, with a little pressure the tip of the hooks will dig into the plastic and you can pull the sensor back out. With a little patience and precision you can "fish" (Pun Intended Lol) the sensor back out." http://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s-...y-fixes-93843/ |

You may try to access and re-position a parking sensor near the side of the bumper through the wheel well or fender liner without removing the bumper .
